I am Yue Wang, a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in Quantitative Marketing at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).

My research examines key challenges related to digital platforms, with a focus on:

  • Understanding the interplay between users on the platform
  • Investigating how information influences consumer behavior

To study these topics, I employ causal inference, Bayesian estimation methods, and machine learning techniques, including Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), Variational Autoencoders (VAEs), Gated Recurrent Units (GRUs), and natural language processing (NLP).
